For our six-month anniversary (how time does fly, it seems), my girlfriend and I had dinner at
Alma de Cuba, a restaurant that bills itself as selling 'modern Cuban cuisine'. Aside from having a nice atmosphere (albeit somewhat dimly lit), the food was absolutely fantastic. An appetizer of Kobe beef meatballs, along with entrees of slices of skirt steak (me) and Chilean sea bass (my girlfriend) and a dessert of strawberry/guava sorbet made for a fantastic meal. The price was very reasonable for a restaurant of its caliber, and it's definitely a place I would not mind eating at again.
