Interesting

Today was the first time I stepped foot in a Whole Foods store. I've heard good things about them and their business practices (mostly from my academic readings), as well as getting a kick out of the fact that their CEO, John Mackey, used an Internet sockpuppet to promote his company's stock on Yahoo! Finance forums, of all places.

Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised that they effectively allowed you buy meals and had seating for it. I picked up a chicken Caesar wrap for a price of $5.99. For what it's worth, it was cheaper and of better quality than anything I would've gotten at the Au Bon Pain on my university's campus. Also, the 30-minute round-trip walk to and from the store probably helped burn off any calories I picked up from lunch. That's a good deal.
